Acadian Ranch
The influence of early Acadian architecture spans from the Fundy peninsula to the southern United States. Steep-gabled roofs were simple to engineer and helped prevent the accumulation of snow in harsh winters. Additionally, a covered front porch made the house popular when the East Coast experienced warm summers. Over time, the Acadian style has been modernized with cross-gabled roofs for garages, additional living space, and open floor-plan basements, but the tradition remains timeless!

Hartland Bungalow
Bungalows boomed in cities across Canada and the United States when transcontinental railways and assembly-line automobiles brought times of rapid growth and development. While each region seemed to develop its own style of bungalow, the long, narrow orientation first inspired by the homes of Bengal, India stayed relatively consistent. Bearing a resemblance to our beloved covered bridges, we’ve named this style after the longest covered bridge in the world located right here in New Brunswick!
